Description
This red tipped heifer is polled (meaning she has no horns). At just 1 year old, she only stands at 33 inches tall! Thanks to her Dexter genetics, she will remain small. She is an excellent candidate for crossing with a small, hairy Highland bull to produce miniature and micro HighPark cattle. Moreover, the HighPark calves from her could inherit her polled trait, making them highly desirable in the miniature cow industry.
Additionally, Violet’s friendly temperament and adaptability make her a fantastic choice for homesteaders and small farmers seeking a good milk producer. Her registration with the IMCBR is currently in progress. Her distinctive red tipped ears and nose are quite rare, giving her a unique appearance and the potential to pass down these characteristics: no horns, red-tipped features, a small stature, and a gentle personality.
Like all our calves, Violet will also go through our socializing training program, where she learns to wear a halter comfortably, stay calm during human interaction, and stand quietly for petting and grooming.
