Description
- lovable,
- charming,
- and absolutely adorable.
He was born early in the morning on June 22, 2025, completely unassisted, but with a bit of a rough start. His muscles were weak, likely due to a magnesium deficiency or a posture issue during the final weeks of pregnancy, making it hard for him to stand or nurse on his own.
We gave Bear and his momma Millie time to bond, but stepped in to make sure he got the strong start he needed.
So, Bear stayed in our cozy and temperature controlled calf nursing room, growing stronger each day and showing us just how sweet and grateful he truly is. At two weeks old, he joined a pen with weaning-age calves and gentle heifers, giving him companionship and the chance to learn important herd behaviors.
How is Bear doing?
Today, Bear is thriving! He takes three bottles of milk replacer a day. Bear also has free access to premium western orchard and alfalfa hay, and enjoys nibbling on calf developer grains in the evening to support healthy rumen development.
He’s growing beautifully, full of personality, and continues to charm everyone who meets him. We are a dam-raised program, so this little guy is your chance to bottle-feed and bond from an early age — all while bringing home a premium-quality fluffy cow! Come meet her in person, HE IS ADORABLE!
