Bertha’s girl is a beautiful red Highland heifer with a very feminine look, lovely posture, and a sweet presence.

She has the classic Highland charm, with a soft red coat color and a naturally elegant build. Based on her current size, along with her dam and suspected sire’s height, she will most likely mature as a miniature to mid-sized Highland, or right at the top of the miniature range, around 42–44 inches tall.

She was born unassisted on 11/17/2025 with a birth weight of 40 lb. Her sire is suspected to be either Thor or Champion, both white Highland bulls with excellent docility, temperament, and easy-to-work-with personalities.

Size and Structure

Bertha’s girl has a feminine, balanced look and a beautiful Highland structure.

Her dam, Bertha, is a black Mini / Mid-Sized Highland cow known for being an excellent mother. Her suspected sire is either Thor, our Miniature White Highland bull, or Champion, our White Highland bull. Parent verification is pending DNA testing.

Based on her current frame, birth weight, dam, and suspected sire lines, we expect her to mature around 42–44 inches tall. This makes her a wonderful option for someone wanting the Highland look in a smaller, practical size range.

She is chondro-negative and horned.
