Description
Cappuccino is a stunning silver Miniature Highland bull prospect and by far one of the smallest boys we produced this past year.
He has a beautiful silver coat, lots of hair, a tiny and shorty build, and a fantastic predisposition. With his small size, strong Highland look, and excellent lineage, Cappuccino is a very special bull prospect for someone looking to add compact size, color, hair, and personality to their program.
His dam, RCM Matilda, is a Silver Miniature Highland from RCM, bringing in respected genetics, beautiful color, and strong Highland influence. His suspected sire is Casper, Dunniel, or Mikey, with parent verification pending DNA testing.
Cappuccino is already fully trained and does excellent with hands-on interaction. He handles petting experiences, bathing, grooming, and halter work like a champ.
Size and Structure
Cappuccino is a Miniature Highland out of RCM Matilda, a Silver Miniature Highland cow. His suspected sire is Casper, our Micro Dun Tipped HighPark; Dunniel, our Miniature Dun HighDex; or Mikey, our Miniature White Highland. Parent verification is pending DNA testing.
He was born with a very low birth weight of 20 lb, and based on his current size, structure, and genetics, we expect him to stay miniature. His tiny frame, short build, and strong Highland features make him a very attractive option for someone wanting a smaller-framed bull prospect. He is an excellent and unique option for the female chondro positive breeding program.
Because of his own low birth weight and compact size, Cappuccino may also have the potential to contribute to lower birth weight calves in a breeding program, depending on the females he is paired with.
He is chondro-negative and horned.
His Personality
Cappuccino has a wonderful personality and a great predisposition.
He is sweet, playful, friendly, and very comfortable with people. He enjoys attention and does great in our petting experiences, making him not only beautiful and well-bred, but also easy to enjoy and work with.
He is already fully trained and handles bathing, grooming, halter work, and hands-on care incredibly well. His confidence and playful nature make him a fun, lovable calf to be around.
Bull Potential
Cappuccino is being offered as a bull prospect because of his size, color, lineage, conformation, hair, and temperament.
He may be a fantastic option for someone wanting a small Miniature Highland bull with silver color, lots of hair, low birth weight influence, and respected RCM genetics through his dam. His compact build, excellent training foundation, and people-friendly personality make him a very exciting prospect for a miniature cattle program or female chondro positive program.
He brings together many traits that are highly desirable in a bull prospect: small size, color, good conformation, Highland hair, docility, trainability, and strong genetic background.
Training Timeline
Cappuccino is already fully trained and doing excellent with his hands-on work.
He handles halter work, grooming, bathing, brushing, petting sessions, and continues handling very well. He has been raised through our low-stress training approach and is confident, friendly, and easy to work with.
He is ready for someone looking for a trained, people-friendly, miniature bull prospect with a strong foundation.
A Great Fit
Cappuccino brings a lot to the table for someone looking for a small, well-bred Miniature Highland bull prospect who can add meaningful value to a breeding program. His silver color genetics, compact size, low birth weight, docility, and sweet personality make him especially appealing, particularly for programs working with chondro-positive females where size, calf birth weight, and temperament are must have considerations.
